Holds like crazy too
|

| A perfectly tight fit for the DeLorme PN series of handheld GPS. The grip is very tight and surrounds the GPS nearly completely protecting it very well. The suction cup needs the normal clean windshield to grip to and the locking device twists meaning there's no lever to get in the way of placement. The short arm rotates this way and that and I found comfortable positions in several different locations before deciding on one I liked best. Be sure to clean your window following use as thieves have learned to look for the marks left behind by the suction cup. |
A Worthwhile Investment

Fits the PN series like a sock. Well-made, easy to use.
I'm not sure about the life of the plastic/rubber cup though. Don't know how long it will last when the car is parked in the hot sun all day.
Better lick the cup before mounting this. Mine leaked when the seal was not made wet.
I've driven some pretty knarly jeep roads with lots of rocks, roots, and ruts, and oh yes, miles of teeth-shattering washboard. The device never fell off the windshield, something I was afraid of.

Heavy Duty

| Probably a bit more heavy duty than it needed to be but that is fine with me. It would probably help hold up the vehicle in an accident. Sticks like glue and even stays attached to the slightly porous surface on the dash of the Element. |
