Very good mount, but the weighted friction mount is useless in CA.

I bought this, all excited, then found out in California, where I live, it's illegal to have the GPS in the center of the windshield, period. It doesn't matter if it's mounted on the dash or not.
I now just use the suction cup and mount the GPS on the right corner of my car. It works great and it really is a better location than mounting it on the dash. (I tried dash mount while visiting Navada.)
The right corner allows me to look at the GPS with my periphiral vision and not take my eyes off the road at all.
All in all, I highly recommend this product. The dash mount and the suction cup both work great. |
Nice, but not compatible with Verizon Dare

| Seems to be a good quality product, but...does not allow for side mounted power plug. Also seems to squeeze and engage the side buttons. Check the location of power plugs and side buttons prior to purchase. |
Worst Product ever

I purchased this product looking at the prior reviews and the price.
As the price was high i expected this product to be a good one.
I have used this mount for about 1 month to 1.5 months and the plastic on the mount started poppingout and now it would not hold my GPS. Total waste of money.. |
